OUR MISSION

Rooted in the Charism
of St. Mary Magdalene

Rooted in contemplation, healing, justice, and hope — we announce new life wherever possible

“Her special mission was to preach about God’s liberating mercy.”
— On St. Mary Magdalene, Apostle to the Apostles

Mary Magdalene was the first to whom the Risen Christ appeared in the garden — and the first sent to tell the others what she had seen. She carried news of new life before anyone asked her to. We take her as our namesake and our model: an invitation to encounter Christ directly, and to announce that encounter with courage.

We are an inclusive Catholic faith community, led by Rev. Mary Michael Leahy, a Roman Catholic Woman Priest. We gather to worship, to grow spiritually, and to walk with one another — in liturgy, prayer, and shared action for peace and justice.

OUR VALUES

What guides how we gather

Radical Inclusion

All are cordially welcome, regardless of background or where you are on your spiritual journey.

Contemplation

We make room for quiet, prayer, and encounter — trusting that stillness has something to teach..

justice and Action

Faith moves us outward — toward peace, mercy, and care for one another and the world.

A LONG TRADITION

Following the women who came before

From Mary Magdalene to the women mystics and saints who followed her, our community draws on a long tradition of women's spiritual leadership within the Church — voices that have often gone unheard, but never stopped speaking.
